Regardless of the time of year, your home still needs to sparkle and shine. It needs to be clean, festive, warm, comforting, and inviting. Holiday decorations are perfectly fine as long as you don't go overboard or get cheesy or tacky with the decorations. Have someone holiday lighting, a fire crackling in the fireplace and festive decorations spread throughout the house in a neat and orderly fashion.
